Kessler Higdon is a multidisciplinary designer whose creative journey took flight at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Before turning to furniture, he studied film at Georgia State University, where he developed a deep understanding of narrative, pacing, and visual composition. That cinematic foundation continues to shape his work; each piece of furniture carries a sense of story, rhythm, and atmosphere. With a filmmaker’s eye and a craftsman’s hand, Kessler creates work that invites both use and reflection.

Kessler’s design process resists convention. Works like Tom’s Book Cabinet, Patsy’s Rocking Chair, and Patsy’s Side Table emerge from a nonlinear, intuitive rhythm shaped by spontaneity, instinct, and quiet observation. His approach is deliberate yet organic, allowing each idea to unfold at its own pace, growing into form with a life of its own. This fluid method reflects his broader artistic philosophy: that making is as meaningful as what is made. Blending furniture and film, Kessler crafts spaces that breathe, alive in wood, alive on screen.
